The View Outside the Window

I was going on a Sunday drive and I drove by the pond. There were seagulls and ducks taking in the bright sun. Then suddenly, this Blue Heron flew in and landed near me! I manage to hide behind a tree and I snapped.

But then the Heron saw me and decided I was a bit to close. He took a short flight to cross the pond but not to far away.

Just far enough to be at peace and then I left to give the bird the peace.
