The View Outside the Window

So I decided to drive up to the Maryland Zoo at Baltimore City. It’s a nice zoo which is often overshadowed by the National Zoo in Washington D.C. The setting is quite nice but the weather didn’t compliment its beauty. It was a cold, cloudy, grey day made the zoo more contemplative. The visitors were more hushed except for the rare squeals of children, almost like church. Which I believe made the zoo animals more pensive and contemplative. Zoos are a necessary place to keep these species alive but I wonder what the animals feel about on days like this. I know I am anthropomorphizing but still and again.
